New Year- 2016 Review

So unless you have been living under a rock, you must have realised that for the world in general, 2016 was one of the worst years ever in many people's opinion. Though I agree it sucked I still think the years where we had wars or even the plague could be considered worse. But for many young people who live in what people used to call first world countries (though thats now considered outdated according to my A-level Geography essay from two years ago) it has been somewhat of a tragedy. Of course the terrorist attacks where awful and the deaths of well known people aka celebrities was upsetting, but otherwise I think I had a pretty decent year.

Anyway, a year ago I made predictions of how my year would go. I should have probably kept note of my predictions every month but being the lazy girl I am, I decided to try and remember when I write this. So may not be majorly accurate but the important things should be correct.

Original Prediction- January- Boy Drama. Not sure of what kind. Friendship or other, but I reckon boys are gonna be stressing me out a lot this month.

What really happened?- This was very accurate. But to be fair this was the same month I wrote this. There was a guy at school who was basically a huge dick to me because I rejected him. He told the whole school I was a cheating bitch or something so literally everyone except like three people hated me in all of sixth form. So out of like 250 people. But not everything was bad. I started going out with a guy who I'm still completely in love with and we will be celebrating out one year anniversary on the 15th of January. A year today he got into a car accident which led to us talking and even though it was a horrible thing to happen to him, it led to something amazing.

Original Prediction- February- Of course there is my 19th Birthday. But that isn't a prediction of course. And there is mock exams. Again, I already know that. Hopefully, I will have passed my driving test by then? Maybe. And hopefully pass my exams.

What really happened?- Well I still haven't passed my driving test. So obviously that didn't happen. I did however pass my mocks. Barely but enough to get the grades I would need to get into uni. Also on my birthday my mum wasn't there because she had to fly to Colombia for a family emergency and my dad forgot to pick me and my brother up from school so I missed half of my birthday party. Luckily my boyfriend rescued us from a restaurant where I got myself drunk on cocktails as I waited to get picked up.

Original Prediction- March- Something new will happen. A new hobby, a new friend, maybe even a relationship (though I doubt it.) Something will change, even if only temporarily.

What really happened?- Uh, honestly don't think much happened this month. I can't remember anything memorable at least. Was probably just stressing about exams. There was this one girl I made friends with who happened to start going out with that guy who was a dick to me in January. Which obviously made him hate me more even though I genuinely liked her and we never talked about him.

Original Prediction- April- Hopefully by then it will be sunny. Maybe I will start running? Haha. Yeah, right. I can always dream though. Right?

What really happened?- I did start running but I think that was like two months later and honestly just a handful of times. I think I just spend all of my time working at my local pub or revising. Was just very busy with the easter holidays.

Original Prediction- May- Exam time! One of two things will happen. I will either be way to stressed or way to calm. I am going to go with calm as my prediction. Stress will probably come in later.

What really happened?- Well can't remember how stressed I was but I think I was calm. Revised a lot for once and took all my AS exams. Even managed to fit in a three day holiday with my boyfriend to Thorpe Park which was honestly some of the best days of my life. We stayed at the park so we were there before the guests arrived every morning and got a fast track past for two hours for both mornings. So we managed to go on literally every ride in the park.

Original Prediction- June- Finishing off exams. Will be bittersweet. I will be excited to be done with school, but I know I will feel sad about leaving. I am quite a sentimental person. So a lot of goodbyes.

What really happened?- So I did my A2 exams which were scary. Was relieved that I finally finished economics after three years instead of two. Was actually pretty happy to leave the school at this point because I was fed up of being there an extra year and just wanted to get away to uni.

Original Prediction- July- If I do manage to raise the money I need then I should be somewhere in the U.S by then. Yes, American readers, I am invading your country. You have been warned! And Canada too! Let's not forget about you guys. (If I have any Canadian readers, of course).

What really happened?- I did end up going to the US and Canada. Was joined by my cousin and had an amazing time in the US visiting theme parks. However, Canada sucked. Please don't be offended Canadians. Your country was pretty cool but I had some issues with the cousins I was staying with. Just felt awkward the whole time and ended up leaving a week early.

Original Prediction- August- This will be the end of my travelling. I will probably be very stressed about exam results and getting into University. Then I will be busy preparing to leave and sad about leaving my parents. Probably involves a whole lot of crying.

What really happened?- So got home at the end of July because of previous said problems. Was more impatient than stressed about results. And more screaming than crying because I ended up with higher grades than expected and got into my first choice. Thats right, I finally passed economics. Not just passed but got a B which was a grade higher than what I needed. I am still thrilled when I think about it. Recently found out I was the only person in the year who was allowed to apply for adjustment which basically means I was the only one who got higher than predicted grades in the year. Which is awesome. Got very excited about shopping for uni stuff and planning my accommodation where I found out my friend ended up in the same flat as me.

Original Prediction- September- University! And what comes with starting uni? FRESHERS WEEK! So basically I will be drunk most the time. Making friends and maybe a few who are more than that. You get me?

What really happened?- Well, this was an eventful month. I packed for uni, said goodbye to my friends, and got stung in the eye by a wasp which caused it to swell up and for me to end up in minor injuries two days before I left for Oxford. This leads to me meeting everyone at freshers week with a swollen eye. I met my flatmates and made some friends in my accommodation. Went out a couple of times during freshers week but not every night because I'm human. And lazy. Definitely didn't meet anyone who was more than a friend for the obvious reason of being in a relationship.

Original Prediction- October- Homesickness. Maybe some sort of other drama in the mix. Boy drama. Friend drama. Family drama. Something along those lines.

What really happened?- I didn't end up getting that homesick because I went home twice. Once because I sort of had a week off and then a second time to get a tattoo! Yes an actual permanent tattoo. Mum only found out this month and not sure if my dad knows or not. Not really any drama from what I remember.

Original Prediction- November- Christmas is approaching! Lots of lights, got chocolates. Maybe someone, to cuddle up with to keep warm. Then again, probably not. That doesn't sound like me. But I could be a whole different person by then.

What really happened?- Was pretty homesick this month even though I got stuck in Cornwall for two weeks due to trains being cancelled from bad weather. Went home for my brothers birthday where his party of twenty soon turned into a raging drug fuelled party of 50 where people got kicked out and furniture was destroyed. There are still bloodstains on my stairs. Then didn't really socialise because I was really busy with assignments.

Original Prediction- December- The end of the year. Of course there is the holidays. Will probably be working at the local pub. Just happy to see my old friends. So basically, happy. And who doesn't love the extra Christmas and New Years parties?

What really happened?- Well I finished my assignments. Came home early due to having no exams (go coursework!) and started working at the local pub. However, I ended up being sick the day before I left Oxford which was the beginning of December and I am still sick now at the beginning of January. Been to hospital twice so far and had to stop working. Will be okay I think but is taking forever to get better. Haven't had a chance to see my friends but have spent a lot of time with my family and my boyfriend :) Spent Christmas with my best friend's family, my family and my boyfriend who joined later in the evening. Then spent New Years with his family.

So that is about it really. My whole year summed up. May make predictions about this year but won't make them yet. There is currently too many what ifs. Like where will I live next year and will me and my boyfriend still be together. Too scary to think about right now.

Hope everyone has a better year than 2016. Let's see what 2017 brings us!

A Level Results and University Confirmations

HEY! So I have been crazy busy. So I am extremely sorry about not posting. So 18th of August is the dreaded day. Basically doomsday for everyone finishing A Levels as it basically determines our future. It tells us if the last two years (or three in my case) of our lives was actually worth anything. I has nightmares the night before for the entire night about everything that could have gone wrong. Not getting the grades I need to get into university or not understanding what my results are.

So the morning of the 18th, I wake up at about 7:30am which is half an hour until the official release of results. So after taking care of business (brushing my teeth etc) I open my school email, my normal email and my UCAS track all next to each other for me to clearly see. And there on UCAS was my confirmation letter from my university announcing I had achieved my results and got in. I couldn't believe it. I didn't even know what I had gotten yet and I knew I was in. I actually made it. My reaction was a mixture of crying in my bed and jumping up and down, screaming at my parents.

For me this was a huge achievement because I am really bad at exams, had two surgeries and got told by a million teachers that they never expected me to be able to get into university. So the odds were against me to say the least. For someone who was predicted three C's, eventually finding out I got three B's felt pretty amazing. The fact that I managed to prove everyone wrong just felt incredible.

I then find out that out of 10,000 people, my best friend and I have ended up in the same flat together. Which is a huge coincidence too.

So yeah its been crazy. Been sorting out accommodation, paying deposits, enrolling online, buying freshers tickets, stalking Facebook for my new flatmates and buying stuff. Still have a lot more to do between now and when I leave on the 16th of August but will try my best to post at least a few times.

Thank you to everyone who has been reading my blog for the last month even though I haven't posted anything. Love you all! Please feel free to comment.

Finished School

Hey everyone!!! Guess what!?! Exams are finally freaking over! I am freeeeeeeeee. Okay sorry a bit over excited. It hasnt really hit me yet that school is officially over. I had all the special ceremonies, presentations, end of year pranks etc. Today I handed in all the textbooks that have been piling up in my bedroom for the past three years. I gave my teachers cards and presents and said goodbye to a few. And then I took my last (and toughest) exam. I kind of feel like I was missing something. Because all that happened is that I walked out, went into my mums car and went home. That's it. I have spent pretty much all my free time revising so now that I have free time and nothing to revise? Well I am bored. It has only been a few hours and I have been bored constantly. Luckily my best friend is saving me because we are going out tonight. But she is taking forever to get here for pre drinks so I am blogging and pre drinking on my own. A bit sad, I know but I can't really afford many drinks whilst out so I need to drink more now so I can buy less drinks whilst out. Good thing my brothers prom was yesterday because there is a lot of free leftover alcohol for me to drink :)

End of School Update

Hi. Sorry it has been so long. Life has been busy. Same excuse as usual. School is finishing up which meant a lot of events and exams going on. So what have you missed?

Well I am not sure when the last time I posted was but here is a few key things. I had my last day of school ever. Everyone dresses up in school uniform which are tight and uncomfortable as they haven't been worn in two years. We wreck havoc at the school, bringing in 7 tonnes of sand with us. Why? Well if we can't go to the beach then why not bring the beach to us? Though our paddling pools don't quite beat the ocean. But its okay, we brought water guns to cool us off. Also filled out teachers office with balloons filled with glitter, post noted the windows, stole out teacher's shoes to invent a treasure hunt for her etc. This was followed by a presentation of our life at sixth form. Of course, I wasn't mentioned. Because why would I be? I'm basically a nobody. I went from being someone well known and friends with not only the nerds but also with the popular crowd, to a year where no one knew or cared who I was. Then there was a long boring ceremony thing which is kind of like a graduation only much lamer. I mean why don't we get a cap and gown like on TV? Or a diploma type thing. No we just get a boring speech about what we have learnt over the last few years.

So other than this, I have been mostly revising for exams. Sad, I know. Good news is that in three weeks its over. Bad news is that it means I actually have to take these last few exams soon. The hard ones which basically determine my future forever. Or at least for the next few years.

On a happier note, I did get to go out one night with two of my best friends who I hadn't seen since Christmas. They got to meet my boyfriend and I got to meet one of their boyfriends. So the two couples and the two thirds wheels all went out to surprise another one of my best friends for her birthday. She had no idea we are coming. Sounds like a great night, right? Well I still enjoyed it despite my friend taking cocaine, another friend getting harassed by these two guys, and my boyfriend nearly getting into a fight. Twice. So we gave up before things got worse and left early to end the night eating nachos. What better way to end the night than with your drunken best friends eating cheesy goodness.

So now what? Well I am leaving soon to go travelling for a month. I'm a little sad to leave my boyfriend but I am getting more excited about it now. I keep forgetting its actually happening because there has been so many other things to focus on before that happens. I had a nightmare last night though about it. I dreamt that I forgot important things and something went wrong with the flight. I always have weird dreams about all the possible things that could go wrong before something big happens. Like start of exams, first day of school, driving tests, holidays etc. So I am not really worried about the dream because nothing usually ever goes wrong.

Today I am kind of in a bad mood though. I was really happy and excited when I woke up. Was going to have a break from revision and see my best friend and then my boyfriend. Then they both cancelled and despite it being a really nice day I have no one to spend it with so I don't see the point in even getting dressed. (Don't worry I still showered.) It just made me realise I don't have any friends here at the moment. I couldn't think of anyone to meet up with because they are either busy revising or away at uni or somewhere. I can't wait for them to all come home. Because right now I am alone an it sucks. The only reason why I remembered to blog today was because I have no one to talk to so I decided to talk to strangers instead.

One last thing. Thank you to everyone who has been reading my blog whilst I haven't been posting. Normally I come back to 0 views for weeks but I have had people reading it every day which is pretty much a miracle to me. As summer approaches I will hopefully be able to post more about my summer and my trip.

So there is a little update for you all :)

A Busy Random Girl

Hey everyone! Sorry its been a little while. But really, did anyone actually believe my good streak was going to last that long? To be fair, life has never been more busy. I have had university applications to deal with, my parents have been harassing me a lot, I had a whole lot of mock exams, went out with my friends a few times and obviously spent time with the boyfriend. So yeah, extremely busy. Mocks are over and Easter is quickly approaching. It is going to suck cause I am busy with work and revision for my actual exams, but I am also very excited to have all my uni friends come home! Yay.

Life has been really depressing and boring other than my love life. School is hard, my bosses are being dickheads and most my friends are either hours away or out of the country. But at least I have someone to cheer me up when I get stressed out. The next three months are going to be tough. And the worst part is that I want to cherish the last few months I have at home before I leave for university but i'm too busy to notice.

So there is a little update on how my life is a little overloaded. Will try and write a proper post soon, but no promises!

19th Birthday

So today is my birthday in case you couldn't tell from the title. And once again, just like last year, I write this whilst a little bit drunk. So hows it going so far? well its different. Mum has missed it for the first time ever. So there are missing touches like decorations and i have to actually plan it myself this year. As usual there is mocks on which suck. Had a three hour exam today and one tomorrow which I already know I won't revise for. Dad ends up being on the phone and an hour late to pick me and my brother up and my usual lift is busy with his friends. So what do I do? get my boyfriend to come and rescue me and go drinking in my favourite restaurant as I wait. Problem is my brother is underage so I have to order a cocktail and a chocolate milkshake at the bar. A bit awkward but oh well. So yeah my birthday is definitely different than my usual one. It is also my last one at home before I go to uni and my last year of being a teenager. Not sure what I am going to do with the title once I hit twenty. Oh and my phone died so I am awkwardly drinking with my brother in a restaurant whilst on my laptop. I think the alcohol has hit me already. Thats shit. When did I become a lightweight? instead of planning out what I am going to write I am literally typing what words come to mind which is a little weird. And I'm sure I won't check this before I post so sorry about errors and stuff. But I am so brain dead after my exam that I just don't care anymore. At least I have a lot to look forward to. Not doing anything major as I have an exam tomorrow but getting all my closest friends, family and neighbours over. My first party that has people of all ages which is interesting. Is it weird that I have more teenage boys over than girls? Anyway, gotta go. Sorry about my drunk rambling.

Uni Offers!

I am so excited! Just found out that I got an offer from my favourite university! Well there and another one. So I have three out of five offers so far. Pretty good for a girl who sucks at school. Step one has been a success. Next Step, Pass my exams! Now that will be more of a challenge, but now I at least have something to work towards. So wish me luck everyone!

Back to School

Hey! Twice in one week, shocking I know. But I finally got my new laptop which makes it that more possible to post again. So as you can tell by the title the topic of today's post is the most popular of any teenager, school. Tomorrow school starts again. But this isn't any first day of school. No, it is my last ever first day of school! I hope. It was meant to be last year but I am determined to finish this year. Anyway, to mark the occasion I am making a list of my top five things I hate and love about school.

Things I love about school-

1) Everyone's favourite probably, is seeing your friends. Because when we are finished, when will we ever get the chance to see your friends five out of seven days a week ever again?

2) Getting out of the house. Because let's face it. If I didn't have school everyday I would probably spend my days glued to my laptop on my bed whilst watching TV. Oh wait I am doing that now! But not for long.

3) Learning. Sometimes learning can actually be fun and interesting. I mean sure there are things like maths which sucks (not that have maths lessons anymore) but there are interesting topics about history or geography. About things that are going on in the world. Or even finding out something basic that you never knew before.

4) The gym and pool. Our school has a new building which is actually pretty cool and the facilities are great. Plus you know, you get access for free!

5) Access to town. My school is like a three minute walk to the hughstreet which is highly convenient for well.. pretty much everything.

Things I hate about school-

1) Assembly and Chapel has to be the worst. Because why do I want to spend hours in my week sitting around listening (or pretending to) to teachers yapping on about a bunch of crap.

2) Homework. No need to explain that one.

3) Exams suck. I mean we spend about fourteen (well only eight for me) in school and it all comes down to a couple of exams which determines whether or not your life is going to rock or suck.

4) sitting in long classes when they are boring as hell.

5) One thing you can always count on is sucky food. I mean, really? Most the time I skip lunch anyway.

So there you have my lists of what we have to expect this school year. Good luck to all of you!

I am still alive!

Hey there guys! I am really sorry for neglecting my blog. I have had a lot of family drama and I have been moving around a lot. Also my laptop died on me which made my life harder. Good news though is that I just ordered a new laptop to arrive on Wednesday! Yay! I am so excited because it has taken me months to convince my dad to pay for half of it. Yeah now I am broke which means I have to go back to work :( and I really don't want to because since my surgery loads if knew people started working there and a lot of my friends left so I will be the awkward new person who isn't actually knew. That is if they even let me go back seeing as I haven't worked in over a year. Stupid leg. So no interesting drama has happened since like April which I have promised to tell you about one day and I will get there. My only real drama is stuff with my family which is kind of boring and then school drama.

Speaking of which that is my other news. For anyone reading this who also read my early posts, you would know that last year I failed my exams. Well this year I passed them all! Yay! I officially have an A level in Geography and all I need is to finish Business which will be easy and then Economics which may just take a miracle. So that means I have a very light load of work this year and lots of free periods where I will hopefully be able to do some writing and blogging with my new laptop :)

For all you UK readers, I hope your results went well! If for some reason they sucked and you want someone who doesn't actually know you but has been through the experience then feel free to comment or email me. (I think my email is around here somewhere.)

Now I am off to go and get drunk with my best friends because I have had stressful day and I need to relax.

I AM BACK BITCHES!

Hey!!!!!! So just in case you haven't read any of my latest posts or you have been living under a rock, I have been going through the worst thing any teenager will ever go through. Exams. Yes the E word. But in case you didn't guess I FINALLY finished them. Three hours ago actually. This is not only good for me but for you guys too because now I can post more often!

So today's exam was eventful. I had my G4 Geography exam this afternoon. I spent all morning with my classmates revising and chatting, lunch with my friends and then we all headed to the exam hall. A normal exam day. Then this guy is carrying a water bottle and I hear people laughing. Turn out it isn't water but vodka! and he downed half of it before the exam. Who goes into there last A2 Exam drunk? On what planet is that a good idea? I mean his friends just got expelled. Did he want to too? We only have 2 weeks left and then we all split up forever. At this rate he will be gone long before that. So anyway, after that drama we go inside and start the exam and then twenty minutes in, the fire alarm goes off. Why the heck did it have to go off right in the middle of the last exam? Couldn't it wait a few hours? Apparently it was because someone burnt some toast.TOAST. That is what almost ruined my life. Okay not my life but my exam. I mean it is important. Other than that it was pretty uneventful.

Afterwards I was meant to go out with the geography people but I said goodbye to some of my friends who are leaving and then came home instead. Sitting in my PJs in my comfy bed watching TV and writing verses going out with people I sort of know and get completely smashed? I vote home. Besides, I am going out next weekend and the weekend after and I can go whenever I want now that school is over.

So as a final note I would like to say.... SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE! More exciting posts are coming soon to a computer near you!

World Gone Mad

Hey guys! I am extremely bored lately. I have been hauled up in my room alone for weeks with no one to talk to. Even my own mother left me alone to go to Colombia to see her mum. Meanwhile everyone else has gone crazy. Exams can do that to a person. Everyone gets so wrapped up in them that then become needy, selfish and even mean. Everyone gets distracted by exams and forgets that you are going through the same thing to. Instead of working together and helping each other through it, they yell and complain about all their problems, not bothering to ask you about your problems. For example a lot of people keep telling me that they have a lot more going on than me and that their exams are more important than mine. That, I have to disagree with. Don't get me wrong, I don't think my problems are worse or more important than theirs. They are the same to me, as their problems are to them. At least they get to finish school after this. They get to leave which was something I have been trying to do since I got here. Something they like to remind me daily. Which just about kills me. I hate it so much that it has nearly caused me to cry a few times. Not that they noticed. I would go and ignore them for days, distracting myself and pretend that I am not miserable. They are probably relieved that I am not talking all the time and irritating them instead of wondering if something is wrong.

Everyone I know has a purpose. An aim, an objective or some sort of goal. I don't even know where I am going to be next year. I could still be at school, which is what most people expect. I could be doing some sort of course somewhere else. I could be backpacking across America for all I know. Not that I think mum would let me. The point is that I am not jealous over the fact that they are all leaving me behind and will probably forget about me, leaving me completely and utterly alone. It is that they get to start their lives. They get to move on and actually do something meaningful. They may not all know exactly what they want to do. But at least they know for the near future. More than than I have. I don't even know what I am doing tomorrow, let alone next year. And I would give anything to know. Because not knowing is killing me inside. To the point where I have cried myself to sleep at night. Not that anyone cares. I am not their problem because they get to leave. I am just that friend they hung out with at school.

So whilst the world may not be going mad, just moving on, I am stuck. Unable to move on. You may think I am being over dramatic. I mean it is only one year. But it's not. Because what I do next year could define my life. I could be a school drop out with barely any qualifications and never get a job and fail at life. I could continue school and have an amazing year, or a miserable year all alone. No one knows. But I sure wish I did. Or at least had someone to help me figure it out.

For any of you who are also stuck in life, unable to decide what to move on to next, I hope you figure it out. Good luck to you.

Exams vs Writing

Hey guys! Oh my god it has been so long since I have posted anything. I missed my blog. For those of you who have still been reading thanks. I promised myself that I wouldn't post again until after exams are over. Unfortunately my last exam is one of the last in the country and I don't finish until the 19th June. But it was too long to be away and I was getting withdrawal symptoms. So here is a short post for now. I will make it up to you with more frequent posts than my weekly posts when exams are over.

Here is a little bit about what has been going on. Okay, I can't remember what I last told you but I think my last post was after Easter so I probably mentioned briefly my friends party and how I had boy drama. That is pretty much over. I will tell you the whole story soon. Other than that I have unfortunately spent most of my time revising. Exams Suck. I hate them and I hate revision. I am so bad at both. If I fail again I don't know what I am going to do. I can't wait until they are over. But once they are I will be saying goodbye to my friends who are leaving for uni and travelling. I don't know where I will be yet. I will let you guys know when I know.

The last thing I should probably mention is that I have been writing a teen fiction series and I am now on Wattpad. I know, I know. Bad timing with exams and all. I was going to wait but I was to impatient and you could probably tell. So I am @RandomGirl1302 on Wattpad so please check it out! I will put a link below with my first book. I have just finished the second one a few minutes ago and I will get to the last book in the Trilogy after exams. If I am patient enough to wait that is. Which I am probably not. Not going to lie.

Here is a description on what the first book is about,

Hope (The Gracewood Series) Book 1-

Amelia Hope James (or just Hope which she prefers) has always been in the limelight thanks to her movie star mother and her father the famous director, much to her dismay. Hope has lived her whole life under the shadow of her parents fame and knows just how fake the life of a celebrity can be. So when Hope gets sent to Gracewood Academy, one of the top boarding schools in the country, she finally has the chance to make a name for her self and see what life is like without having to deal the pressures of fame.

However boarding school isn't exactly a walk in the park with the endless boy drama, a bitchy roommate, detentions, parties, a secret blogger who some how knows everything that goes on in Gracewood, and having to deal with the biggest issue of all. Keeping her identity a secret.
Here is the link-
Please Check it out and give me some feedback.
Anyway that's from me for now. I have to go and revise business studies :( exam is on Thursday. I will post to you guys about actual stories on what has been going on like boy drama, friend drama school drama and god knows what else soon, Not just these crappy updates I have been giving you guys lately. And remember summer is soon. And that means a lot more free time and interesting things to write about! Good luck for those of you who have exams!

Exam time

Hey guys. So i haven't been on here in a while and i am sorry. A lot has been going on in life lately. So here is some of what has been going on. Towards the end of the Easter holidays I went to a friend's party. I wont tell you right now what happened but let's just say it was very eventful ;) and then I had to deal with the aftermath drama which is now finally over! Yay! Since then I also decided to write a book. We will see how that goes. My first exams start in a few weeks so I will be kind of busy for awhile :( so there won't be any posts for another couple of weeks.

Wish me Luck! I am gonna need it. Good luck to everyone else who has exams!

Mock Week is Over! 10 tips for revising!

Hey Guys! So mock week if finally over...for me anyway. Some unlucky people still have another two weeks of exams even though the official exam week is over! So today I am going to give you some of my tips for exams. Yes I know that sounds boring and if you have read some of my previous blog posts you will know that I suck at exams, but these tips are not your usual ones. These are all things that I have learnt this week

1. Do not get drunk in mock week unless you have either no exams the next day or you have already done a lot of revision. As you probably know I had my 18th Birthday in the middle of the week, and here in the UK I can now legally buy alcohol. This led to me being hungover the next day and probably not doing as well as I should have.

2. Ask for more paper before you run out of time. I only had a few minutes before the end and still had a lot to put down but ran out of paper. The exam invigilators (btw not sure if that is the right word) ended up taking 3 minutes which may not seem like much but is precious time that you will probably really have needed.

3.. Eat before the exam. I skipped breakfast one day and my stomach decided to remind me and everyone else throughout the exam how hungry I was. This is extremely awkward when it is very quiet.

4.  Do not Skype your friends. It wont just be a quick chat and you will most likely spend hours talking when you could be revising.

5. Organise your revision stuff BEFORE mock week. People always forget to tell me that. So always waste the first day tidying and reorganizing because of course your notes are going to be all over the place or your are going to be missing that really important textbook etc.

6. If you finish early, it is not the time to pick up your old art hobby by drawing on your exam paper. Your teacher will probably get more annoyed at you if you got things wrong when you had time to draw something.

7. Do not cram right before your exam. Before one of my exams most of my friends began stressing and freaking out. One got so worked up that she had to leave early and ended up failing. If you don't know it by then then you are too late. You will remember more of what you have revised it you stay calm or even distract yourself with something else, like the latest gossip before you enter the exam hall.

8. If you end up having one of your best friends sitting next to you, do not try to communicate with them, You are better off pretending they don't exist. Me and my friend had been practicing communicating to each other in exams since they weren't that important so luckily we didn't get caught. But if we had the consequences would have been severe and not worth it. Just resist talking to them until later.

9. For your revision, try looking up apps for your subjects. These can be very useful and allows you to revise whilst in the car, or in the lunch que, even the bath! Some are more suited for your exam subjects than others, so make sure you test them and see if they match your syllabus before you use them otherwise you may end up learning some extra information that you didn't need to know.

10. Make sure you look after yourself and don't get too carried away with revising. Once I lived off junk food and barely slept, revising till late hours and first thing in the morning. This led to me falling asleep and failing one of my actual exams last year! Eat healthy food, and get a goods night sleep. Without these you are more likely to do badly than benefit from the extra hours of work. Also remember to take breaks. Just not too many!

So those are my some of my tips for revising! Hope they were helpful. Please let me know if anything interesting or funny happened to you in your exams that you have learnt from!

Rumours, Exams and Birthday Surprises!

Hey everyone!!!! Sorry really excited as it is my 18th BIRTHDAY TODAY! So this is what has been going on in my life lately.

First off, Rumours. Now since the incident at the end of the Disneyland Trip (read part 2 if you haven't already otherwise this may not make sense!) there have been many rumours about me circulating around school. Now before I tell you what they are trust me when I say that none of them are true. I only tell you guys the truth, otherwise what would be the point in blogging if you are not completely honest. Especially as none of you know who I really am. Okay, so some people say that I was in a foursome, some say I had sex with a guy, others say things you guys don't even want to hear, and someone has even gone around saying I had sex in the Sports Hall!! Ewww. Now I have never done anything of these things. So I spent the first part of my birthday listening to people go on about the rumours ect. It wasn't that bad but was irritating as I was trying to revise which brings me to my next point, exams.

So exams suck. Today I had business studies which I finished an hour before the end. So I drew a tree instead. But it's okay cause I later found out that everyone finished early.

So I am then sitting in the car on the way home when we pull up at my house and sitting in my drive is the most gorgeous green car I have ever seen! I mean it's AMAZING and I instantly fell in love! So then I get changed and fix my makeup, whilst mum is making a fuss about how nice I need to look. We then head to the pub (like  2 second walk away where I work) to buy my first drink. Then when I walk through the door....... ALMOST EVERYONE I KNOW IS THERE!! even now hours later I am still in shock. All my neighbours, one of my closest friend out of school, my closest friend in school and my oldest friend who I have known forever are all there! along with the latinas and the kids I use to babysit. Literally EVERYONE!. Could not have been a more perfect surprise!! So we ate, and talked and drank..... a lot! To the point where I am finishing off this post slightly drunk... oh well..

So I have had the most amazing birthday ever!!! Will leave you guys be for now. Will post again soon... Night!x

Random Girl Blog Update

Hey Everyone! Just wanted to let you guys know that I am only posting about once a week (or more if my life gets more interesting and I am too impatient to wait and tell you). Otherwise you guys will probably get bored when I run out of things to talk about. Unfortunately it is also because I have my daunting mock exams coming up (yes i'm blaming school!) which some would describe as crushing darkness. I have been watching to many horror films instead of revising. Okay now I am rambling so this is probably a sign that I should stop typing now. Talk to you guys next week!
